Here you can find a list of all the policies which have been passed by student council. We're working on a live tracker so you can check the progress of each policy, but until we've got that up and running please contact your student president team to ask for an update on policies.       Lecturers and tutors should be required to give at least 1 month’s notice of any scheduled class. If this is not possible then students who don’t attend should not be penalised or have it marked against their record.

      Why you think it is important

      Too often there have been changes of schedule with only a few days notice for multiple reasons including lecturers not turning up. This means that students have little notice to reschedule things like work, placements, driving lessons e.t.c. and results in some not being able to attend the class.

      Is there anything else you think we should know?

      Last year the Lanarkshire campus was particularly affected due to it being a new building. However, the disorganisation has continued on to this year.
