    Stop Penalising Students Attendance

      Staff should oblige and update the attendance of students who do attend all classes but due to cards not working or tablets not working students are marked absent.

      Why you think it is important

      UWS haven't yet worked out the kinks with their cards or registration tablets. Students attendance should not then be penalised for something which is out with their control!!

      Is there anything else you think we should know?

      I have been marked absent for the first 4 weeks of Uni. I attend all my classes and I am always early yet my card was not working and I have been marked as absent. After approaching my site leads I have been told to get my cards checked at the hub which was fine, but I have been told I my attendance will not be updated. This is very unfair!!
