Here you can find a list of all the policies which have been passed by student council. We're working on a live tracker so you can check the progress of each policy, but until we've got that up and running please contact your student president team to ask for an update on policies. You can also check out current ideas and rejected ideas.

      More holistic support (mental health and well-being) for care experienced students no matter the age. Care doesn't leave you.

      Why you think it is important

      Care experience is life long, different experiences can shake you to your core, making the trauma refresh and reveal itself again. This can knock someone back off track and put care leavers back into survival mode.

      Is there anything else you think we should know?

      Survival makes it difficult to dream. Some of our journeys take a little longer to make the switch from survival to thriving so having a support network that helps make that transition more successful would be the difference.
