Passed Policies and Progress

Find out what Students' Union policies have been passed by students, and more importantly, what is being done about them.

Here you can find a list of all the policies which have been passed by student council. We're working on a live tracker so you can check the progress of each policy, but until we've got that up and running please contact your student president team to ask for an update on policies. You can also check out current ideas and rejected ideas.

Getting Ucas to supply details of needs before September or DSA report given sooner to the university to indicate needs to adjust for.

Why you think it is important

Moving into University, multiple disabled students have complained to me on having to sort there own support, having to ask them or engage with the support to get it - which makes them feel as if they are a bother. Starting Uni i sorted my own Academic mentor, note taker, sorting my 1 to 1 with Liberian and academia mentor, setting up my own reading software. I know of these services because i acquired into them, other students i spoke with, with needs, did not. there alot of services i know of that they don't because ive got the ability to be more engaged - feel there needs to be some more involvement with the student.

Is there anything else you think we should know?

I have read the guidance on what makes a good policy on the student council page
