UWS: A 21st Century University which still discriminates against left-handed people

    Passed
The Union must lobby the university to ensure that every classroom has provisions for left-handed students to be able to work and study, including at least 10% of desks being usable by left-handed people.

Why you think it is important

A small number of classrooms have chairs with desks attached to them. This layout can be seen in many locations in Lanarkshire, as well as "Learning Studio" classrooms such as D130 in Paisley. These are uncomfortable and impractical for many left-handed students, despite left-handed people making up 10% of the global population.

Is there anything else you think we should know?

I personally find it very hard to take notes in classes taken in D130, as the "dalek"-style desks are just not designed for me to use.
