Find out what Students' Union policies have been passed by students, and more importantly, what is being done about them.

Here you can find a list of all the policies which have been passed by student council. We're working on a live tracker so you can check the progress of each policy, but until we've got that up and running please contact your student president team to ask for an update on policies. You can also check out current ideas and rejected ideas.

    Point students to help, even when the union closes

      For the Union to make sure students have access to or knowledge of facilities that can help them if they get into difficulty over periods when the Union is closed for a significant amount of time (eg. the winter holiday period). The Union may collaborate with other unions to benefit both student bodies with help over long periods of closure of the unions

      Why you think it is important

      It is important to acknowledge that issues happen to students all the time, and not just in term time. And that the Union should make sure there is help that students are aware of that can help out of academic term time.
