All UWS campuses to campaign for White ribbon status (Policy lapse, submitted by Shaun McLaughlin)

    Current
violence) is a big issue in our socitey and i think that UWS as a community university should be looking into how do we come together to education and make impact through change. with this policy all students wether they are new, returning or distance learners will know that the chain of UWS is working with the White ribbon scotland campaign to safe guard its students and staff for any forms of GBV.

Why you think it is important

this will help to engage students for when they leave they will know that it is not okay to remain silent but it is ok to report it. i would like to know if the SA could ask White ribbon scotland to visit all campuses and ask their students to sign the pledge and i would also ask that all members of SA officers and staff sign the pledge too.

Is there anything else you think we should know?

I have read the guidance on what makes a good policy on the student council page

      Yes
