Fix the SAUWS Policy Comments Board ( Policy Lapse, Submitted by Gordon Lawrie)

    Current
SAUWS should alter the comments board so that comments on policies will support paragraphs. Students are encouraged to comment on policies which are published in order to help shape them before they come up for a vote. The current iteration of the comments system strips out line breaks in comments so that any substantive comments are presented as a wall of text with no paragraphs, even if they were included by the original author. As well as looking bad it makes lengthy comments really hard to read. As well as looking ugly, by presenting information in dense paragraphs it is less accessible to students with certain disabilities, including but not limited to, dyslexia. The Association has a legal obligation to make reasonable adjustments to ensure accessibility to disabled people, even if those people have not directly complained.
