About us
The University of the West of Scotland Chinese Students and Scholars Association (UWS-CSSA) is a non-profit student organization registered with the University of the West of Scotland Students' Union and under the guidance of the Chinese Embassy in the UK and the Consulate in Edinburgh. As the largest Chinese society at UWS, we have long received extensive support from the UWS school, the Chinese Embassy, the Edinburgh Consulate, and Chinese friends from all walks of life in the UK.
Since its establishment, the UWS Student Association has been aiming at serving Chinese students and scholars at UWS and is fully committed to the exchange of Chinese and British cultures and improving the cohesion of overseas Chinese student groups. Daily activities of the Federation of Students mainly include academic lectures, cultural exchanges, cultural and sports activities, etc., such as the annual Spring Festival Gala and other activities. In addition, the University of West Scotland Students' Union has maintained a close cooperative relationship with the International Office of the University of the West of Scotland, playing an active role in new student consultation and current student services.
