ROLE DESCRIPTION
Practical activities focusing on trees and plants. Nursery work, tree planting, woodland management etc
Business development support for the charity involving website development, desktop publishing, design of newsletters etc This would be undertaken remotely.
We would also be interested in any support for marketing and fundraising.
ABOUT THIS ORGANISATION
Eadha Enterprises is an environmental social enterprise based in Renfrewshire. We research, conserve, propagate and plant rare native trees and plants and are involved in woodland creation, rewilding environmental education and community woodland development. We have a small specialist nursery at Bishopton.

WHAT COULD YOU GAIN?
Students can gain a wide range of skills and knowledge about propagating and growing native wildflower and trees, woodland establishment and maintenance, natural history of native plants etc. Eadha relies on a group of volunteers to help deliver a wide range of projects. Volunteering provides a great opportunity to meet like minded people and share experiences and knowledge of the natural world. Activities are scattered across a range of sites offering the opportunity to work in beautiful locations.

Other times are available depending upon the activity e.g. we host workshops throughout the week. Working from home can be done any time

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
For practical activities, no prior experience required. However a degree of fitness is required.
For office based activities, some competence in website development, desktop publishing, design would be required.
For general help such as front of house staff, no experience is necessary
REQUIREMENTS FOR STARTING THE ROLE
