The Annual SAUWS Big Awards took place this year on Friday 31st March.
The Big Awards give the oppertunity to reconsie the work of staff and students across UWS.

Student Group Member of the Year: Mahdi Aghajanmolaei
Student Group of the Year: Muslim Students Association
Best New Society: Events Society
Lecturer of the Year: John McLean (School of Science and Sport)

NUS Staff Member of the Year - Barbara Roberson
SAUWS Case Worker, Barbara Roberson recently won Staff Member of the Year at NUS Awards. On the night she was unable to except the award in person. Vonnie Sandlan (President of NUS Scotland) attended the Big Awards to present Barbara with her award,
