United to achieving better and quality education.
Hello everyone! I am Peter Ilesanmi, am from Nigeria an am currently a Computer Networking Student. I have been working as a class representative for this academic year and I am now looking to take the experience I have gained to date one step forward.
I have been very active in Student representation in all my years of education. Some experiences that allowed me to develop the skills necessary to be a suitable representative of the school are my election as the President of the School’s Council in my senior year of high school and my involvement with the Commissioner for Education.
If elected as the School Officer for Computing, Engineering & Physical Sciences, I will actively work to achieve the following goals:
- I will undertake with diligence expected duties and responsibilities, such as attending Senate meetings and any other task associated with this important portfolio. All important information will be shared with my Peers and School Contact to have their opinions, and I will actively represent these in the meeting.
- Encourage the use of lecture recordings in all classes with the equipment necessary.
- Help with the establishment of the Peer Support network within our school, something currently in the early stages of development.
- Encourage more detailed and meaningful feedback on Coursework.
- Lastly, I will be open and ready to take feedback throughout the year if elected as the School Officer for Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences, all feedback will be related to the school and work for the changes required.
I am willing to step up to the standard to allow everyone within the Computing, Engineering & Physical Sciences enjoy their years of study and be confident whenever they want to get their ideas heard by the School.
